

Johor Government office ready in April 2009The new RM450mil state administrative centre in Nusajaya will be fully operational in April.Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said some government departments located in private buildings had already moved in.
Johor Sultan Iskandar Ismail would officially launch the centre in mid-April.Abdul Ghani said a RM500mil federal government complex would be built north of Nusajaya.By 2012, all state and federal departments would be located within Nusajaya.Abdul Ghani said he was satisfied and proud that the new state administrative centre had been well constructed.
He said the next State Assembly session in April would be at the new centre.On the status of Bukit Timbalan, which housed the state government departments, he said there were plans to turn it into an “iconic building.”
